This year, many Weekly Shonen Jump magazine series will be turned into anime. Mission: Yozakura Family is one of them, and the new anime has finally set a release date!
Hitsuji Gondaira’s Mission: Yozakura Family manga is getting ready for what looks like its end fight in the most recent chapters, but it’s not as well known as some of Shonen Jump’s other latest releases. But the series will soon have a whole new group of fans when the new animated version comes out later this Spring!!
Mission: Yozakura Family Anime Release Date
Mission: Yozakura Family has finally announced that it will be premiering on April 7th in Japan. It was previously said that it would be launching sometime in April as part of the upcoming Spring 2024 anime schedule.

To celebrate the news that the new anime version will be coming out on a certain date, Mission: Yozakura Family has released a short promo video with some new footage from the anime.
How To Watch Mission: Yozakura Family
The first episode of Mission: Yozakura Family will air in Japan on April 7th. As of this writing, the show has not announced any plans for foreign distribution or viewing. The anime for Silver Link will be directed and written by Mirai Minato. Mizuki Takahashi will create the figures and be in charge of the animation, and Koji Fujimoto and Osamu Sasaki will write the music.
Taiyo Asano is voiced by Reiji Kawashima, Mutsumi Yozakura by Kaede Hondo, Kyoichiro Yozakura by Katsuyuki Konishi, Futaba Yozakura by Akari Kito, Shinzo Yozakura by Kazayuki Okitsu, Shion Yozakura by Aoi Yuki, Nanao Yozakura by Yumi Uchiyama, and Kengo Yozakura and Goliath by Yoshitsugu Matsuoka.

The first book of the Mission: Yozakura Family manga is teased by Viz Media in this way: “Taiyo Asano is a very shy high school student, and his childhood friend Mutsumi Yozakura is the only person he can talk to.” But Mutsumi is descended from a line of great spies who were very powerful. Her older brother Kyoichiro is crazy about Mutsumi and wants to kill anyone who comes close to her. Taiyo is his next victim. Getting married to Mutsumi is the only way for Taiyo to escape Kyoichiro’s deadly grasp!”
