Samsung Rolls Out Stable Android 14-Based One UI 6.0

Samsung has released the stable Android 14-based One UI 6.0 update for the Galaxy Tab S9 series, bringing new features and enhancements to the flagship tablet lineup. The update, with firmware version X91xBXXU1BWK6, is currently available in Europe. The file size is 2.7GB, and users are advised to download it on a Wi-Fi network while ensuring the backup of important data. The update also includes the November 2023 security patch.

To install the Android 14 update on Galaxy Tab S9 devices, users can go to Settings » Software update and tap Download and install. The release follows Samsung’s recent rollout of Android 14 and One UI 6 updates for various devices, including the Galaxy A54, Galaxy S22, Galaxy S23, Galaxy Z Flip 5, and Galaxy Z Fold 5.

In addition to the Galaxy Tab S9 series, Samsung is gradually posting the One UI 6 roadmap for eligible devices in different countries, providing users with an overview of when they can expect the Android 14 and One UI 6 updates on their devices. The roadmap indicates that most devices will receive the updates in November and December, with some lower-end and niche devices scheduled for early 2024.
